Privacy Policy

What we collect
If you book a discovery call, you give us your name, email, and whatever you write in the booking questions. If you email us directly, we have whatever is in your message. On the self-assessments, you can optionally leave an email address to have your result sent to you; the answers themselves are scored in your browser and are not transmitted to us. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or behavioral advertising trackers on this site.
Scheduling and forms
Discovery calls are booked through Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. What you enter in the booking form is collected and stored by Calendly and delivered to us. Calendly's own privacy policy governs how they handle it, and their calendar is loaded from their servers rather than ours, so it may set its own cookies on the contact page. Their policy is at calendly.com/privacy. If you would rather not use it, email us and we will find a time by hand.
The optional email boxes on the self-assessments are delivered by Formspree, which passes the message to our inbox. There is no contact form anywhere else on this site.
How we use it
What you send is used only to evaluate fit, respond to you, and keep a record of our correspondence. It is read by our coaches and no one else. We do not sell, share, or rent contact information. We do not add you to any marketing list without an explicit opt-in.
Coaching confidentiality
What is discussed in a coaching engagement stays between you and your coach. On complex cases your coach may consult another coach here, always holding the integrity of confidentiality, and we ask you first where that would mean identifying you. Nothing from a coaching engagement goes outside Refactor=EQ without your written permission.
Relationship to our therapy practices
Refactor=EQ is coaching. Every coach here is also a licensed psychotherapist who keeps a separate therapy practice, including Diana Chu at dianachutherapy.com. Those practices are separate entities from Refactor=EQ and do not share records with it. Coaching clients of Refactor=EQ are not automatically therapy clients, and therapy records are not visible to Refactor=EQ.
Retention and data requests
We retain booking records, correspondence, and coaching notes for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period after for professional records. To request deletion or a copy of your information, email info@refactoreq.com.
