Last updated: April 21, 2026. This page sets the basic terms for using refactoreq.com. The binding terms of any coaching engagement live in the signed engagement letter, not on this site.
Nature of this site
Refactoreq.com is the public-facing site of Refactor=EQ, a coaching firm. Nothing on this site constitutes a coaching relationship, a therapy relationship, legal advice, medical advice, or financial advice. Content is offered for general informational purposes.
Intake and engagement
Booking a discovery call or writing to us does not create a coaching engagement or any obligation on either side. An engagement begins only when a written engagement letter is signed by the client and by Refactor=EQ. The terms of that engagement, including scope, fees, and confidentiality, govern the relationship and supersede anything described on this site.
Intellectual property
All content on this site, including writing, design, and the Refactor=EQ name and mark, is the property of Refactor=EQ unless otherwise credited. You may link to pages and quote short excerpts for editorial purposes with attribution. You may not reproduce substantial portions of the site, or our written content, without written permission.
Third-party links and services
This site includes links to third-party sites, including dianachutherapy.com, Stanford GSB, and LinkedIn profiles of the coaches. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.
We use Calendly for discovery call scheduling and Formspree to deliver the optional email requests on our self-assessments. Use of either is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Neither is operated by us, and we cannot guarantee their availability.
Limitations
Refactor=EQ makes no warranty that the site will be available without interruption, free of errors, or suited to a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, Refactor=EQ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. A signed engagement letter may specify a different governing law or dispute-resolution mechanism for the coaching relationship, in which case the engagement letter controls.
